General Manager Exports (Flexible & Semi-Rigid Packaging)

Job Type – Full – time

Overall Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the organization, setting clear goals and objectives. Develop and communicate the company’s vision, mission, and values to inspire and motivate employees.

Business Development: Identify and pursue growth opportunities in the flexible and semi-rigid packaging market. Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and identify potential customers and target markets. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective strategies for market penetration and expansion.

Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of operations, including production, supply chain, quality control, and logistics. Ensure efficient utilization of resources, optimize production processes, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve operational efficiency and productivity.

Financial Management: Develop and manage the company’s budget, financial forecasts, and cost control measures. Monitor financial performance, analyze financial reports, and implement strategies to improve profitability. Collaborate with the finance department to manage cash flow, control expenses, and ensure financial stability.

Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with key customers and clients. Understand their needs, provide excellent customer service, and address any

concerns or issues promptly: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify customer requirements, develop customized solutions, and maintain long-term customer satisfaction.

Team Management: Lead and manage a diverse team of employees, including department heads and staff members. Set performance goals, provide guidance and support, and ensure effective communication and collaboration within the organization. Foster a positive work culture and promote employee development and engagement.

Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the company adheres to industry quality standards and regulatory requirements. Implement and maintain quality control systems, perform regular audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and compliance.

Strategic Partnerships and Vendor Management: Identify and develop strategic partnerships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders in the packaging industry. Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure the availability of high-quality materials and services at competitive prices.

Innovation and Technology: Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive landscape in the flexible and semi-rigid packaging sector. Drive innovation within the company, explore new packaging solutions, and collaborate with the R&D team to develop and improve products and processes.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and uncertainties that may impact the company’s operations, financial stability, or reputation. Develop contingency plans and implement risk management strategies to minimize potential adverse effects.

Experience

12-15 years’ of marketing experience

Knowledge of Packaging Industry
